New Year — New Beginnings, New saights 🚀

The year is still so young. And like many of you, we at saights are embracing the fresh energy that comes with a new start. A new year always invites reflection, but more importantly, reinvention. So now, we’re not just setting resolutions, we’re restructuring it all.

Refactoring saights: The Quiet Revolution Under the Hood

Aligning with the energy of an opening, we’ve been rewriting our codebase in ways that will shape saights’ future for years to come.

You might not see it yet in the UI, but something powerful is happening beneath the surface. We’re laying the groundwork for features that transform the way you interact with your surveys. Starting with Undo/Redo.

Right now, we’re building a history layer: every edit made to a survey created or changed from today onwards gets stored in a secure timeline. That means we’re tracking changes at a granular level: a first step toward giving you full control over revisions. It’s also about reliability and peace of mind, because if something goes wrong, we have backups and can restore previous states on request.

Beyond history tracking, we took a big step back and refactored the core architecture of saights.
That’s what has changed: 

• Faster development cadence - we can now ship features more quickly and with less risk
• Greater flexibility - iterations, tests, and larger changes are far safer than before
• AI systems that don’t break your surveys - previously, certain AI-driven transformations could corrupt survey structures. The new architecture blocks that and ensures higher stability and safety
• Bigger, longer workflows - because the system is now fundamentally more resilient, we can safely explore more complex automation and workflow capabilities in the future

This is the digital equivalent of rebuilding the foundation of a house while you’re still living in it! Messy behind the scenes, but essential for a stronger, more adaptable home.
